Student Resources 

The Chemistry Department provides resources that promote student achievement in several ways:

• Scholarships provide an added incentive for students interested in studying chemistry.
  
  
• Students are encouraged to participate in undergraduate research projects and share their knowledge by making presentations at  conferences.     
  
  
• The department supports student organizations that provide meaningful extra-curricular and social activities.
  
  
• Cooperative education gives students majoring in chemistry an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience before they graduate. 
  
  
• The department gives awards to outstanding students each year.
